Dallas (1978 TV series)Dallas (TV series) – This series seems to be much more prominent than the 2012 one, based on impact and pageviews Eddie891 Talk Work 17:31, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Support This would be the main Dallas TV series anyone would think of as it was the most popular and longest running. Doesn't really make sense labeling it 1978 either when it ran into the 90s. IrishReader1996 (talk) 19:45, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Support page views suggest that the elder is the primary topic by a country mile. – Meena13:29, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose A 4:1 pageview ratio is actually rather low for a PDAB ... * Pppery * it has begun... 14:34, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Support per long-term cultural importance. Randy Kryn (talk) 14:44, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Support It's actually more like 5:1, and I've seen 3:1 PDABs. 🐔 Chicdat  Bawk to me! 11:26, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Support as primary topic. livelikemusic (TALK!) 20:12, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Support. But this begs these question why there is no general method. For instance, a general page with links to the specific editions (e.g. 1978 and 2012) with discussion around the show/content concept and relationship of the editions, the latter a continuation, a redo, etc. This could then encompass other forms, like movies, as that is also becoming more relevant... if it wasn't already so. 174.127.159.17 (talk) 04:42, 27 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
